Introducing the inspirational new Signature collection of LVT flooring from Amtico

By Caroline Rodrigues |

It’s exceptionally durable, warm and comfy underfoot and looks amazing – three cheers for LVT flooring. If you’re already a convert to LVT, you’ll certainly know the luxury vinyl flooring brand Amtico  – after all, it’s been established for nearly 60 years. This year Amtico has launched a new, creative redesign of its Signature collection that was previously launched in 2016.

Introducing the new Signature designs

Among the 65 new products in the new Signature collection you’ll find hyper realistic wood and stone effects along with colour and abstract designs.

In creating the collection, the design team took inspiration from timber, stone and other natural materials, resulting in flooring that truly reflects nature, with authentic features, colour variations and grain details.

The collection includes plank and tile formats, cut to replicate the appearance of real timber and stone floors.

Find your look

Crafted heritage offers several timber effects from pale Wharncliffe Oak to the rich tones of Tay Oak. With realistic grain patterns and surface textures, this LVT flooring is ideal for any living space.

Soft industrial celebrates materials such as burnished metal and concrete and is great in the bathroom or kitchen. It’s a contemporary look that’s stunning on its own, but it also teams beautifully with wood.

Considered colour is your way to get creative, enabling a mix of different hues of LVT flooring in complementary or contrasting shades, which can also be laid next to timber or stone effects. It’s ideal for defining areas in an open-plan space and for creating a focal point.

Understated opulence is classic and timeless, featuring Signature’s updated marble finishes, which offer a more affordable and resilient alternative to the real thing. Use a single design on its own or team more than one together for a bold look. Why not incorporate a feature strip laid between the tiles or planks or along the edges of your room?

What is luxury vinyl tile?

Luxury vinyl tile, often shortened to LVT, is formed under pressure and high temperature from multiple layers of high-quality materials such as PVC vinyl and resin.

This makes LVT flooring hardwearing, durable, scuff, stain and water resistant – hence why it comes with a lifetime warranty. Soft and comfortable underfoot, the tiles are suitable for any room and can be laid above underfloor heating.

How do I plan my floor?

To make the process of creating a Signature floor easier, the design team at Amtico has devised templates for the arrangement of planks and tiles, such as block parquet, check and random stone. The Designers’ Choice collection offers curated colour options or you can make your own selection for any of the laying patterns.

On the Amtico website you’ll also find the Room Visualiser feature. This enables you to plan a scheme by uploading a photo of your room.
