When will the Grand Designs 2025 series air?
The two fresh series announced for 2025 will air in Spring and Autumn of 2025.
Series 23, which will air this spring will spotlight three new builds and revisit two previous ones. While Series 24 is scheduled for an autumn release.
Who will host the new series?
Fans of Grand Designs will be pleased to know that Kevin McCloud will once again be returning to our screens as the host of Grand Designs 2025 series’.
He has been a part of the series since 1999.
In the upcoming series, we can look forward to more of Kevin’s sharp wit and humour, as well as his honesty as he covers each project from conception to completion.
Kevin told the Daily Express: “It is fantastic to be back with another two series of Grand Designs in 2025. It’s full of astonishing projects and really remarkable people.
“Great architecture doesn’t automatically come from great architects. It requires passionate dedicated clients who are prepared to push boundaries and it’s their stories that inspire the designs we are so lucky to follow. I can’t wait to share them with you.”

What do we know so far?
While we don’t have much information about the projects involved in the new series just yet, other media outlets have reported an accessible home in Barnet and a floating house on the water in Worthing.
Whether these projects will be in the upcoming spring series, or the autumn offering later in the year remains to be seen.
What we do know, is that both series will shine a light on self-builders going through the highs and lows of designing their own incredible spaces. We can’t wait to see the journeys they go on.
John Comerford, Head of Naked West and Co-Executive producer told Devon Live: “We are delighted to announce series 23 and 24 of Grand Designs. Grand Designs is so much more than a show about building and architecture; it centres on human ambition, perseverance, resilience and creativity.”
He further adds, “Both series will continue to showcase the extraordinary journeys of self-builders who take on the challenge of building their own unique home.”
Channel 4 Commissioner Ian Dunkley also commented on the show’s lasting charm: “The enduring appeal of Grand Designs is rooted in the human stories behind the bricks and mortar. As well as the passion and brilliance of Kevin and the team who make the series. I can’t wait to be surprised and amazed by the builds to come.”
