The future is solar

Save on bills and do your bit for the environment with solar panels

By Caroline Rodrigues |

Solar power doesn’t just reduce our impact on the environment, it’s for anyone who wants to take control of their energy consumption and expenditure. As the cost of traditional energy sources continues to rise, solar panels are an increasingly attractive option.

How a My Home Solar system works

In a solar PV system panels transform sunlight into electricity. The energy collected by mono-crystalline PERC cells in the panels is converted into light. Unlike standard solar panel cells, PERC cells are modified using extra layers to collect more light. These panels are engineered to perform even in low-light conditions. To turn the energy into a usable form, the Inverter converts the direct current (DC) electricity into alternating current (AC) that can be used in your home.

Storing energy

Using a battery storage system, any excess energy that you don’t use is stored or can be sold back to the power grid. This efficient system helps you get the most out of your solar energy and makes you more self-sufficient. The highly efficient resilient batteries are engineered using advanced lithium technology.

Which system is right for me?

Of course, every home has different energy requirements so a My Home Solar assessment will be carried out on your home. Since the company is a member of the MCS (Micro-generation Consumer Scheme) and RECC (Renewable Energy Code) you can rest assured that the assessment will be undertaken professionally and accurately.

Special offer

My Home Solar has a limited offer of a 10 panel JA Solar panel system and a FOX ESS 5.8kw battery storage system for £8,250 until  stocks last.  If a smaller or larger system is required the company will provide a detailed quotation.

Why choose My Home Solar?

From the start My Home Solar’s aim has been to create a more sustainable future and help customers reduce their energy costs. Instead of using subcontractors, the company is directly accountable. You’ll want to know that your new solar panel system is up to the job.
