PROMOTIONAL FEATURE
Meisterstueck Haus’ Energy Plus wall is built from natural and sustainable materials creating a highly insulated and efficient dry outer wall for healthy and energy-efficient living
Innovative production technologies produce the highest quality. Once a design is complete, the technical work begins, and the house is virtually constructed using CAD software.
High-tech CNC machines then guarantee accuracy in the manufacture of the individual building elements of your house.
Materials and components can then be accurately ordered, even down to the last individual screw, reducing waste which translates to reduced cost.
As a member of the Quality Association of German Prefabricated Construction (QDF), quality is controlled to ensure the highest standards by regular inspection of the manufacturing and assembly processes by independent experts.
The test criteria go beyond the legal and regulatory requirements and include economic, ecological, functional and quality standards.
Meisterstueck Haus deliberately avoids oil-based materials such as polythene films and polystyrene, ensuring a healthy indoor environment.
Wood fibre board and natural mineral wool insulation, which includes recycled products, produce a highly insulated wall which when combined with the latest ecological heating systems, mean permanently low running costs.
And if our standard wall structure is not enough, we also offer a thicker, more highly insulated wall.
Internally the walls of a Meisterstueck Haus are finished with Fermacell boards, a superior alternative to plaster board with ecological and structural properties as well as high fire resistance and improved sound protection – a fixing in Fermacell boards can carry over 50kg!
The natural wood-based thermal insulation system is breathable, i.e. permeable to water vapour and CO2 and is highly weather resistant.
It offers excellent heat protection due to its low thermal conductivity, high density and high heat capacity.
The avoidance of oil-based materials and the use of a wood-based system reduces the carbon footprint of a Meisterstueck Haus in two ways, firstly by reducing the energy required in manufacture, and secondly because wood is a CO2 store.
The prefabrication of the wall, ceiling and roof elements in the factory in Hameln under dry and controlled conditions, means that thermal bridges can be minimised, and air tightness maximised, all contributing to the low running costs of a Meisterstueck-HAUS.
An air-source heat pump combined with underfloor heating and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery produce a comfortable indoor environment in which to live.
The flexibility of our system allows for our tried and tested materials and build system to be adapted to almost any bespoke design.
External walls can be finished with render, wood cladding or even brick slips and the roof can be pitched or flat, depending on your preference.
In addition to our standard closed panel build system, we also offer the beautiful post and beam style, which facilitates large, glazed areas and a striking appearance.
Once we have a set of floor plans and elevations, we can provide you with a fixed price for your project.
We can offer architectural services, or we have smaller in-house designs which can be adapted to your needs.
Meisterstueck-HAUS believes in delivering outstanding quality and service at realistic prices.
Shell house prices, depending of course on the design and complexity, start at about £1,500 per m2 for a basic closed insulated panel design and from approx. £1,900 for a post and beam shell house.
Working with partner UK companies, the complete package can be delivered.
The cost including groundworks, shell house and internal fit-out starts from approx. £2,600 per square meter for our closed insulated panel system and from approx. £3,000 per square meter for a post and beam design.
Economies of scale can be achieved with larger houses and our system offers excellent value for large bespoke designs.
